Green Schools

Green School flags are issued every two year by An Taisce.  To date we have been awarded flags in the following areas

Litter & Waste, Saving Energy, Water Conservation, Travel,  Biodiversity, Global Citizenship           

We received the 'Marine Environment' flag in 2022.

Health Promoting School

We are proud to be part of this initiative and actively participate in it at all levels of the school through our Healthy Eating Policy, participation in the Active Schools activities and promotion of PE and sport.

Stem Awards
Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths

We have received fiveplaques which are displayed in the school for our work in this area.  Children take part in many science activities throughout the year as part of the application process for this award.

Active School Flag

We have received two Active School Flags for promoting PE in school.  We are currently applying for our third flag
